AHANA'S POV:

"The fuck, are you actually saying that veer cared for you? No, like the veer mehra who doesn't show any emotions cared for you?" Aarohi exclaimed.

Yeah, we were still in shock the three of us that veer cared for me and we were ranting in my room about this.

"Shutup, he's a human ofcourse he has emotions and he cares. No need to be dramatic about that" Here comes my precious brother with his opinion.

"We didn't ask you and ahana, we've to go in sometime. We have our event starting at 4" Aarohi said and went home for getting her dress.

Well, I was still confused what to wear as the event was not too important and I had to give a speech.

Finally, I decided to wear a white dress  and got ready with aarohi of course.

"Hayee, you look drop dead gorgeous! I'm sure somebody is gonna propose to you today" Aarohi said being dramatic as always

"yeah yeah I know. And nobody is going to propose to me. Let's go well be late otherwise" I said

We were downstairs standing and waiting for rishabh as he was getting ready. Yeah, he takes more time than me to get ready. God, I should've said him to get ready atleast 3 hours before.

"You should leave ahana. Rishabh will obviously take time he has to impress other girls. You'll get late for your speech" Aarohi said

"But, how will I go?" I questioned

"Don't worry, I'll call veer to pick you up. He's also going to the event so it'll be good if he picks you up." My dad said

What? I mean? Seriously? After what happened yesterday I have to go with him again? No! Definitely not. But, how am I supposed to tell that to dad. So I agreed

Aarohi smirked shooting a knowing look

And I just rolled my eyes at her actions.

~Time skip~

"Dad, shall I go by the taxi? I don't think he's going to come." I said as it was already late and Mr mehra was still not there.

Dad didn't reply anything and stayed silent.

"It's all your fault, you should get ready quickly but here you are princess. Enjoy your sweet time getting ready when I'm getting late" I shouted at rishabh.

"Hey, don't shout at him. We shall go it's late." Came a voice from behind and I know it was veer.

He was looking good, in casual clothes also

I didn't argue further and we went to college.

I moved outside and the weather was perfect. Dark clouds and thunder all over. Seemed like it was going to rain.

Veer came in his bike obviously.

"Do you know how to sit on the bike with this dress or should I help?" he said

I was angry. I'm not a little kid that needs help in sitting on a bike. So he was walking behind me and I put my leg in the middle.

He was about to fall when I held him again.

"Dekh ke chala Karo. Abhi gir jaata Mai fir Mera chaand sa mukhda kharab hojata" He said.

God, this ain't veer. Something is different today. He isn't grumpy or rude or arrogant

"Acha, toh chalo iss chaand se mukhde ko bigaad he dete hai." I said and released him and he fell.

Well, I wasn't going to hold him for long we were getting late so anyways.

VEER'S POV:

What the actual heck? She let me fall on the ground? She's definitely mad.

I got up and sat on my bike. 

"You might fall, take care." I said to ahana and she sat.

We were in the college ahana gave her speech and the event was over. It was time for the after party.

I was going to leave but as always rishabh made me stay with him. Then after sometime he also disappeared . And I was alone standing in a corner watching everyone. 

Then suddenly my eyes fell on the most beautiful girl in my life. She was wearing a white dress looking like a fairy. Smile never leaving her face. God, she really is sunshine in everyone's life.

And once again I let my intrusive thoughts win. I swear I shall stay ten feets away from her and her thoughts now. 

Now it was time for the couple dance and somehow I don't know why rishabh ended up with aarohi for the dance and ahana was left alone. I was about to ask her though I don't like dancing but she found a partner and that partner was AJAY?

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK? does she not know ajay is the biggest playboy of the college?

They both started dancing and I was standing there looking like a fool. Well, I am a fool for letting this happen. 

Ajay said something and she smiled sheepishly. I knew where this is going. Rishabh was so busy in bantering with aarohi that he wasn't noticing all this. 

"Hey cutie, you wanna dance with me?" Here comes Akruti the famous bitch of the college. 

She's actually a bitch. Asked me out almost ten times even though I denied everytime.

"Akruti, leave if you don't want to be expelled from the college." I said 

"Okay, that was rude" she said and I glared at her and she left.

Ajay held ahana's waist and that was enough.

I went to them held ahana's hand and stormed out of the room.

"What the heck? what's the matter with you!" She said 

I didn't reply anythig made her sit on the bike and left the college

We were going home when it suddenly started raining. Soon, it started raining heavily and we somehow managed to find the place for staying there until it stops.

"You shouldn't have danced with ajay.  He's a playboy and he could've did something to you" I said calmly 

"You should have told me this earlier." she said and I nodded

We were silent for next few minutes and it was still raining heavily. All this time, I looked at ahana and she was smiling looking at the rain.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" She asked looking at the rain 

"Yeah." I said looking at her and she  looked at me and turned her face

"Do you like the rain?" I asked 

"Like? I love the rain." She said smiling 

"Don't tell me that you don't like the rain" She said with an confusing look

"Yeah, I don't. Why though" I said 

"My god, now I hate you much more than I did before" she said 

"Wait, what? You, You hate me?" I said as I couldn't believe. How can she hate me?

"I'll tell you in the rain" She said and stormed out of the shelter and started laughing.

She also pulled me and I didn't deny. How could I possibly deny to her? 

"So, now tell me why do you hate me?" I said holding her hand 

"Well, maybe because you're cold hearted. And maybe I don't hate you. I hate the way you behave at certain things." She said 

Well, she's right I am a cold hearted person.

"Let's Dance???? Pleaseeee!!! You didn't let me dance at the event so" She said with doe eyes and I couldn't deny her.

We started dancing and I murmured in between coming close to her ear that 

"I'm cold hearted for everyone else maybe. Not for you. Never for you" I said and stayed silent. 

Her cheeks turned into crimson pink and she started dancing again.

At this moment, I swear I forgot that the world exists. 

Ahana ke kanhaji, What's happening to me? why I can't take my eyes off her? 

This girl is going to make me crazy. The way she moves, she talks. I am obsessed with her. 

I thought while we were dancing 

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU VEER? BECOMING OBSESSED WITH YOUR BESTFRIEND'S SISTER? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? My inner sense mocked 

After sometime, it stopped raining and we were going home when ahana said she was hungry and wanted to eat something.

We went to a restaurant and odered the food. All this time, she was shivering like hell because of getting wet in the rain. 

"You wait here, I'll come in a few minutes" I said and went outside 

There was a mall backside the restaurant so I bought clothes for her and came back.

"Here, you should wear this so you wouldn't catch cold" I said and gave her the clothes.

she agreed somehow after denying for few minutes. 

And we were back to home now. 

I went to home and got relaxed when I saw a message on my  phone; 

 AHANA HERE, THANKYOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID TODAY. 

I smiled like idiot for sometime and replied her back; 

WHERE DID YOU GET MY NUMBER FROM? 

YOU FORGOT I HAVE A BROTHER THOUGH :)

Ohhh, yeah from 7 PM I almost forgot that I had a bestfriend who messaged me 183 times after we left.

Anyways, I got back to my assignment after talking with ahana.
